Company Profile
The company was founded in 1997 (with 50% Romanian and 50% UK
shares) producing about 80,000 garments per month. We supply Dorothy Perkins, Top Shop,
C&A, H&M, Burberry, River Island, French Connection and Naf-Naf in France. We
specialize in casual wear, and other denim related garments including lined jackets and
coats. We have our own factory in Giurgiu (about 100 km from Bucarest) employing over 120
highly trained staff, with the capacity to increase to 400.
In 1998 we set up our own laundry In Bucharest near to our head office, specializing in
sand blasting, stone washing, and dyeing. Our factory in Giurgu has all the latest
machinery. We have a health & safety and needle polices as well as qualified first
aides. We have documented in line quality control, and final pre-shipment inspection.
At head office we employ 10 staff. We have import-export department, pattern grading,
stock control, progress reports, and quality control engineers, who make regular visits to
our sub contractors.
We work very closely with our UK office that make regular visits to Romania.
We also provide the following services to other manufacturers:
1. Pre-shipment inspection based on ISO 1859,BS 6001 with a normal inspection plan using
2.5 AQL for major faults.
2. In-line QC inspection reports.
3. Pattern grading.
4. Pattern development from sample or sketch.
5. Sand blasting, soft washing, stone washing and dyeing.
6. Advice and help on setting up your own business in Romania.
